Redskins Insider: Preseason Opponents Set

Opponents for each week of the preseason schedule have just been released by the NFL in conjunction with the national TV schedule for preseason. So far, only two dates/time are definitive for the Skins.

Week 1 -- Aug. 13
Washington at Baltimore 7:30 p.m. (Ch. 4, Comcast)

Week 2 -- Aug. 20-24
Pittsburgh at Washington (Ch. 4, Comcast)

Week 3 -- Aug. 28
New England at Washington, 8 p.m. (CBS)

Week 4 -- Sept. 3-4

Washington at Jacksonville (Ch. 4, Comcast)

Well, the Ravens, Steelers, Pats, and Jags it is.

It shouldn't take long to get a feel for the team's offensive capabilities.

That's a dream schedule for the Cult of Colt. Those defenses are capable of shutting down any first team offense in the preseason, laying the groundwork for comeback scenarios led by Babe Laufen... er Colt Brennan during mop-up time.

And I am in the tank for Colt Brennan. I officially hope he is the hidden gem many believe him to be, and that he only needs his shot to prove it.

Now you may all proceed to bash me for being the first to hijack a thread with Colt blather in this otherwise pristine forum.
