Wow.

Somewhere in South Florida, defensive end Jason Taylor and V.P. of football operations Bill Parcells are eating Tostitos and singing “Kumbaya.”

Indeed, the two men who had zero relationship a year ago when Taylor was trying to force his way out of Miami have found a way to mend fences.

According to Ethan Skolnick of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Taylor will sign a contract to rejoin the Dolphins.

So, in the end, the Fins will have gotten in the end a second-round draft pick for renting Taylor to the Redskins in 2008.

And they’ll probably be paying Taylor a lot less than the $8.5 million he was due to earn this year in D.C.

Remember the good old days when we were the ones who fleeced teams in trades?  Jim Lachey for Jay Schroeder and Earnest Byner for Mike Oliphant, for example.  Boy, I miss those days!cry

This just hurts. If this doesn't make Vinny feel stupid and Dan to reconsider giving one of the most valuable sports franchises in the world over to Vinny to run (into the ground) I don't know what will. Of course, it won't...
