Some of you have asked about a message board for the site, so let's see if the idea has legs.
This isn't about competing with other Redskins communities. If nothing else, I'm hoping perhaps it will evolve into a place thoughtful Redskins fans can clear their heads from time to time, kind of like stepping onto the porch for a quick breather before heading back to the rocking party inside.
Couple of administrative notes:
1. The board software is a free application I have not worked with before, so please be patient going forward and let me know if you run into any problems.
2. In lieu of a formal set of Rules, I just one simple request---be respectful of the forum, and one another. Trolling, flaming and spamming will not be tolerated ... common sense and courtesy should be enough among friends.
With that, feel free to dive in and let's see where this thing goes.
Hail, and enjoy.

Nice. Now I don't have to feel bad about starting a Skins thread at TN where the population is slowly getting diversified. Interesting to see where it goes.
No idea what to expect here. For one thing, the software isn't as robust as mmany of us are used to, but from what I can tell, it's got the basics sufficiently covered. Way I figure it, if people end up finding the place and it grows to the point it makes sense, perhaps we'll take the plunge and upgrade. We'll see ...
If by "less crowded" you mean "a blank slate," I'm with ya. Hopefully by the time training camp rolls around, we'll have carpet down and the echo will be gone.
Thanks for checking in, hermano.

One thing I've noticed already ... we're going to have to do something about these smilies. Looks like to use other than the 12 default ones we're going to have to memorize the codes. Clicking on them doesn't do anything. Good news is, there's plenty of 'em.
