I suspect offensive tackles might be calling him Oh-hell-no.

Draft Update:

Having selected their lineman for the decade, the Redskins have turned the page and gotten back to business, drafting a cornerback and two undersized project linebackers.

Grr.

These kids better be able to play.

And now another TE.  confuse

I know we need to upgrade ST guys but can't we do that with players at positions of need?  And maybe with guys that other teams want too...instead of using draft picks on guys who we likely could have gotten as FA?

And now another WR... *sigh*

Makes a guy want to give up...

Worse, the size of these last two guys tells me they are worried about Kelly ever being able to make an impact (at least that is how I read it).  Maybe Vinny should have listened to the medical staff when they were about this guy's knees, huh?

While I'm not thrilled with the rest of the pics, I remember not so long ago saying who in hell is this Horton guy, and whay did we draft him.

I am a bit tiffed we didn't do anything to bolster the O line, but there's still all the undrafted guys to look at, so I haven't given up hope as of yet.

Got to love the Orakpo pick. Dude is a freak, and it probably triples the value of Haynesworth from day 1.

Just out of cynical curiosity, why do you think Buffalo and Denver both passed on him?

I like the Orakpo pick.....and its great to see that the FO selected a D-linemen high in the draft. Pretty good argument that he was BPA at #13. In fact, I started to think the FO was turning the page but then came down to earth with the results of the rest of this draft.

I'll also admit that although I like the Orakpo pick I'm a little concerned that his game won't translate to the NFL. You hear the Vernon Gholston comparisons and various commentary on his size and run-stopping ability. No denying his physical tools but I'm a little apprehensive here.

If he flops this draft could be a total bust for the Redskins which will saddle the franchise for years.......

Denver now has no real QB and probably wants to replicate the Vikings' offense, i.e. Moreno run right, Moreno run left, Moreno up the middle, punt.

As for Buffalo, I hear their F.O. gets their crack from Al Davis. Personally, I think Maybin is going to be a major bust.
